Join geologist George Kendrick for a geotour of State Beach on June 20th. You will go back in time about 500 million years and walking on remnants of another continent from away.  Please wear appropriate footwear and be prepared to walk among jagged outcrops, uneven ground, and slippery rocks in the intertidal zone.  For balance-challenged folks, a hiking pole could be useful.  Bug Spray and sun protection is encouraged.
