Scholarships

Be sure your application includes your name and the name of the program you plan on attending and the type (i.e. technical training, certificate program, 2-year degree, 4-year degree etc.)
Scholarship distribution:
If awarded to student, the scholarship will be distributed as followed based on program type.
1 year program or short course - Half of the scholarship will be awarded at the beginning of the program, and half at the end. A final reflection and photographs are required at the completion of the program.
2 and 4 year college - The scholarship is awarded upon the successful completion of the first semester and at the beginning of the school year thereafter. Students must submit their transcript demonstrating that they are in good academic standing and maintaining a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
Financial Information: While this scholarship is not primarily need-based, we want to understand your financial need and ask for a short description of how you plan to pay for your program and your Estimated Family Contribution (EFC) from your FAFSA if applicable.
Scholarship Amount: This is a $2,000 renewable scholarship.
Scholarship Opportunity
VLT is proud to offer a $2,000 renewable scholarship to a Graduating Highschool Senior, who plans to pursue post-secondary education or training that aligns with our mission. This includes technical training, one year certification program, and two- or four- year college degree program.
