Vinalhaven Land Trust has an extensive series of educational and entertaining walks and talks, often in partnership with other organizations such as Maine Coast Heritage Trust, Vinalhaven Historical Society, Friends of the Library, Vinalhaven Reads, and North Haven Conservation Partners.
All events are listed on the calendar; if you would like to be on our walks and talks email list, please send us your email here.
Each Thursday in the summer, VLT offers a bird walk with a local, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic birder. They show you where to find the most interesting birds, and tips on how to identify them. Meet at Skoog Park to venture out to a preserve. Bird walks are free!
